Pedestrian Footbridge View

In this photo, I am standing on a pedestrian footbridge between the Moscone Convention Center and the Yerba Buena Gardens. There was quite a bit of traffic on a Sunday afternoon. The tall building with the bluish windows in the distance on the right side of the photo is the new InterContinental Hotel opened a few days ago on February 28th. It has 32 stories and 550 rooms all with windows from floor to ceiling.

That's a nice city view from the footbridge. I'm wondering if it's one of those enclosed walkways. Wow, that's some hotel!

Hi Dot, it's not an enclosed walkway. It was sprinkling on the day I took this photo so I did get wet. When I have a chance, I'm going to visit that newfangled hotel for a few photos.

All the lines are working well in this shot.

Nice shot. I look forward to the photos of the new hotel. Getting sprinkled on is one of the perks of being a CDPBer!

It just amazes me on the size of those buildings,I guess i should be thankful we don't have anything that massive here. Beautiful scene, just glad i don't have to be in it.

I can't tell it is sprinking! I am coming to San Fran on Thursday for the weekend and am looking forward to trying out my new camera while I am there!

Interesting shot.

I am trying to catch up on blogging but it looks like a hopeless case. My emails are backed up too. Oh, I need a nap. LOL

Digital Flower: You're right, the lines are working and it didn't even occur to me when I took the picture.

Lynette: Not sure when I'll be heading to downtown SF, but I'll be sure to take a few photos of the new hotel.

Lilli & Nevada: Actually, these are the smaller builders. I haven't shown you the Financial District yet. Those tall buildings will really put a creak in your neck.

Scott: Long time no see. Where have you been? Thanks for dropping in to say 'hi'.

Neva: I'll be at the SF Zoo on Saturday with some photography buddies. I'd be interested in seeing your photos of the city.

Andrea: A nap is a good solution to resolve any problem. :)
